Husband and I got the Gyro platter. Everything was pretty good, the Gyro sauce was a bit bland. The orders of mushrooms we got were GREAT!! Seating is limited because it's a small family owned restaurant. Very busy during lunch hours, but the gentleman still gave fast service surprisingly.

Gyros combo is less than $12 with the upgrade to get fries and a drink. The gyro was amazing!!! And it was out so fast!!! Thank you for an amazing meal.

Original Gyros Express in my opinion is the gold standard of Gyros. This has been one of my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale since the mid 90's. The Gyro and tzatziki sauce has all ways been the one that I compare every other Gyro to. I am all ways looking for an excuse to get to Scottsdale and Shea so that I can eat one yummy Gyros platter.

It was pretty good. I was looking for a quick bite and this spot came up. Fast and friendly service. I love the family owned spots.

The name doesn't do it justice... you think with the name fast food place, but it's just overall good Greek food and a sit down or takeout place. Their french fries are some of the best in town.

The staff here is super friendly, and even in a lunch rush they are quick and professional. Always great to see them and get some delicious food! Definitely recommend the gyro salad with an Arnold Palmer.

I am a Gyro Connossuer and this place has fantastic gyros. There are a lot of gyro places that dont meet my expectations but this place is one of, if not the best gyro I have had in the valley. The meat is juicy, and the tatziki is very good as well. and the fries are very very good as well. I come here weekly and if I can more.

Intimate and charming Greek restaurant that is family-owned. Has been operated by same owners for over 30 years in this location. Owners daughters serve the tables. Try the Ares greek beers and lemon rice soup made from scratch. Does not accept American Express.

Very nice salad to go w crispy french fries and of course the great Gyro meat. Get extra tziki sauce! Absolutely delicious.

The Best Gyro place in the valley hands down!! I have been eating here for 15 years and their tzatziki is outstanding always cooked to perfection and Real Potato fries!!

Both times I've been there the past few months it has been relativity quiet in the restaurant not sure why. The food is pretty good comparatively to the price we paid and pretty fresh too. Service was fast and as opposed to waiting for the kitchen to have the order completed and then delivered to the table she went ahead and started bringing things out as the kitchen made them so the items where nice and hot and not kept under a heating light. We do not live nearby but when we are in the neighborhood and want a quick cost effective bite of food we'll pop back in for sure.

Referred by a friend who knows we love a good Gyro. Glad we took his advice. Gyro meat very good, fries are made fresh and are amazing. Pita and Tzatziki sauce also excellent. Friendly service. Definitely will return.

I enjoy there Greek Salad with Chicken. I have had 8 times over last two weeks and consistently good! I have dined in and done takeout with no change in quality of food. Service is good and friendly.

This place has some of the best Gyro's in Phoenix! The owner is pretty tough but once you get to know him, he's awesome! The service is alright; it seems like the place is family owned. They have been here for at least 25 years. The food is great and I highly recommend it for a quick and affordable mediterranean meal!5/5

I have lived near and eaten at The Original Gyros Express for 25 years. Seen other places come and go,or water down their flavor to not offend the inexperienced palettes. Their decor and their flavors remain unchallenged. The decor is unpretentious taking you back to a time when independent people tried to share a bit of their home country with their new neighbors. The food can take you back to that little village in Greece where you stopped to catch a bite. Never been to Greece? Close your eyes and take a bite!
